Join High Five Events to Explore part-time expo and event operations roles for the 2027 event season
High Five Events, producer of the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K, invites prospective event staff to a come-and-go information session on Monday, November 9, at its Austin office. Stop by between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to meet the team, explore part-time positions, and learn about job expectations.
The organization is seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals who enjoy working in collaborative, fast-paced environments and want to experience the excitement of event production firsthand. Opportunities are available across two key areas.
- Expo crew members help create a welcoming and organized experience for participants through packet pickup, merchandise and shirt distribution, participant assistance, and expo logistics.
- Event operations crew members work behind the scenes to support event setup, course preparation, equipment management, event-day logistics, and breakdown, helping ensure each event runs smoothly from start to finish.
“You get to see the best of people on an event weekend. They come from all over the world after spending months, sometimes years, working toward a goal, and you get to be there when they achieve it,” said Dan Carroll, co-owner of High Five Events. “Our part-time staff help make those moments possible. Knowing that your work played a part in someone else’s accomplishment is what makes this job so rewarding.”
No prior event production experience is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available for event weekends, with some roles requiring weekday availability before an event. Physical requirements vary by position and will be discussed during the session.

- Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K on February 14, 2027
- Statesman Cap10K on April 11, 2027
